A Modified Car Enthusiast may be described in many ways, a boy racer, a petrolhead, a piston head a tuning freak or even a Moddy which is a term i heard recently. In most cases a Modified Car Enthusiast is just a person who loves their car and enjoys customising it either visually or performance wise from the factory stock look. A lot of Modified Car Enthusiast get a bad reputation for doing stupid things like Wheel Spinning or doing Doughnuts in Car Parks or taking over you on a narrow road and hearing their overload exhaust as it rumbles by but if you ever goto any Modified Car Enthusiast events such as Max Power's Santa Pod or any meets you would realise that most Modified Car Enthusiast's are just everyday people that love messing about in cars, we love talking about them, love lifting our bonnet off to show our engines and most of us arent yobs or anti social we just have an absolute passion for nice cars.
We have seen girls as young as 17 and men as old as 55 come to meets with highly modded, totally customised cars from a Ford Cosworth restored and glistening to a Brand new Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X with over £30 grand spent on it. And thats the great thing about it all, everyone has different tastes everyone loves to learn and you can meet people from all different types of life from web designers, mechanics, tuning specialists or a manager from Morrisons.
If you are a Modified Car Enthusiast and have never experienced going to a meet then we advise you do so sometimes soon, no matter what car you have as long as you have a keen interest in Modified Cars get yourself over to a car show event or a meet, sign yourself up to a forum.
